2017 Oregon Pinot Noir – Willamette Valley Chehalem Mountains AVA

$36.00

2017 Oregon Pinot Noir  ($36)  On the nose you’ll be greeted with aromas of cherry cola, earthy mushroom, hints of licorice, cinnamon and clove, cedar, nutmeg.  The wine gives way to flavors of pomegranate, red currant, and spice. This vineyard yields a bigger Pinot Noir that delivers a mouthfeel of dominant fruit component up front with nice acidity, beautifully balanced, soft tannin and quick finish.

This field blend of Pinot Noir spent its first nine months in a combination of a 2 year-old French oak and neutral half barrel before wrapping up its second year in 4 year-old French oak plus one year old French oak half barrel.
