Winemaker Selection – 2018 Fall Release

These wines are selected as representatives for our wine club who opt for a pre-pak club selection.  When this bundle is ordered it will add 3 wines to your cart.

Based on your club commitment you can add 1-3 pak (3), 2-3 pak (6) or 4-3 pak (12).  We’ll process the club discount after the order is received.  You may also mix and match with this bundle and shop your choice of wines in our shop*.  

• 2018 Sangiovese – Super Tuscan $34 – the bright ruby color and shiny brilliance is a hint to the youthful vigor of this wine. Medium intensity nose is followed by bright fruit; strawberries, brambleberries, candied fruits and then maple, vanilla and cinnamon notes. Strong tannins balanced with fruit and acidity. Long acidity in the finish, mouthwatering. Will pair wonderfully with many savory dishes.  Our Sangiovese is crafted in a Super-Tuscan style with 5-8% Merlot aged in neutral oak only.
• 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon $38 – Deep red, white pepper nose, tart cherry, possibly plum, cassis, essence of root beer. Palate: light cherry becoming plum as it opens up. Soft mid-palate, dry upfront, vegetal finish. Extra dry but not hard hitting. Classic Cab, dry upfront, soft in the mid-palate, low acid leads to a balanced mouthfeel.  Drinkable now and will be mind blowing in years to come.
• 2018 Triomphe 5 Bordeaux Signature Blend $48 – This years blend 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot, 13% Malbec. While we release to our club members early, this military tribute is released to the public on Veterans Day. $3 of every bottle sale goes to Returning Veterans Project as our 2021 veterans non-profit.  

*Our Cellar Club is a “your club, your choice” allowing you to select the wines for Spring or Fall commitment if you choose.
